In order to create awareness of the need for constant exercise, The World Health Organisation (WHO) has staged the third edition of its global “Walk the Talk’’ to actively engage the public in the culture.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Walter Mulombo, WHO Country Representative in Nigeria, said the program, tagged “Walk the Talk: The Health for all Challenge.’’

“This walk aims to raise awareness on health issues such as Non-Communicable Diseases and the need for exercise.
“Walk the Talk is not a fitness competition but an opportunity to develop a healthy lifestyle.
“The significance of the walk is to raise awareness and remind Nigerians to be active in order to reduce the burden of Non-Communicable Diseases through physical activities.”
