GROUP CALL ON APC NEC TO URGENT ACTION OVER PARTY IMPOSITION
A group of Akwa Ibom youths has stormed the national secretariat of the All Progressive Congress demanding the urgent intervention of the party over an alleged imposition and takeover of the state’s gubernatorial sit by a known PDP mole in the person of Akanimo Asuqou Udofia.
The group leader, Ogbong Victor made the call on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said there’s proven evidence that an established and confirmed PDP sponsored Mole in the person of Akanimo Asuquo Udofia is about to be imposed on Akwa Ibom APC Members as their Governorship Candidate, thus calling for the immediate attention of the National Chairman and the entire members of the National Executive Council (NEC) to safe the state from the impending crisis that is about to rock the party.
“The Akwa Ibom State government is the sponsor of Akan Udofia. The purpose is to pick the governorship ticket of APC and later pave the way for the success of the Udom Emmanuel imposed governorship candidate of PDP.
It is also part of their agreement that in the eventual circumstance of disqualification of the PDP candidate, Akan Udofia will carry on with the interest of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The APC family in Akwa Ibom State is in shock that Akan Udofia, a PDP screened and confirmed aspirant, who is still campaigning and meeting with the governor of Akwa
Ibom State and other PDP stakeholders could come over to our party APC and be handed the governorship ticket.

The group, therefore, hands over claims and evidence of their complaint to the party representative for onward investigation.
