A renowned expert Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi, Future Trends Group, Dubai, has called on African leaders to unite and see themselves as one, should they desire to become a world power.
He made the call at the 8th United Nations Pan African Leadership Symposium and Honours organized by the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council, in Abuja.
Dr. Farzam said taking over china is possible only if African leaders are humble and transparent, adding that these elements are critical points to actualize development for the interest of the masses.
The 8th edition of the International Peace and Governance Council, was with huge hope for Africans as the highlights are to promote Peace and Economic growth particularly as the region is ravaged by untold crises.
The high-level peace and reconciliation dialogue themed “the role of inclusive governance towards consolidating peaceful co-existence in Africa.” is aimed at enlightening the African citizens on the need to collectively build a wealthy generation for the rise of the region.
Meanwhile, The Zambian Commerce, Trade, and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga, harps on transparency and sensitization of member states to ensure peace and stability.
He added that it is time for Africans to assume their responsibilities to achieve the Development and investment it craves.
Earlier, the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council Head of Mission for Africa, Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, said the essence is to equip participants to become an ambassador of peace while building their capacities in conflict and alternative dispute resolutions.
The event also featured a 5-day international executive master class on leadership even as participants were honored with the SDG humanitarian peace award.
