The federal government of Nigeria in its determination to eradicate security threats has entered into a partnership with the Republic of China to boost research as a way to build sustainable peace in the country.
The federal government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made this known at the launch of the Contemporary World Nigeria, in the nation’s capital.
Speaking at the event, Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama, said the launch is a result of research work in collaboration with the Chinese government to put an end to insecurity in Nigeria.
Onyeama noted that the essence is to bring in academic dimensions for experiences sharing so as to abate terrorist attacks in Nigeria.
