The Nigerian government in its determination to promote trade relations across the African region has vowed to ensure that import duties and other non-tariff barriers are eliminated in the country.
The Nigerian delegation to the ECOWAS Parliament led by Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu disclosed this while presenting her country report at the 2022 second ordinary session of the ECOWAS Parliament in Abuja.
She said to comply with the protocol on the free movement of goods and persons, the Nigerian government has introduced Visa on Arrival policy to further show its unwavering commitment to enhancing a borderless community.
