Health experts have expressed worries over pregnant women’s negligence to adopt skilled birth practice saying only two out of five women are engaged in skilled birth attendance.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) Prof. Oladapo Ladipo made this known at a one-day summit of the Association of Nigeria Health Journalists supported by the Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health at Scale (PACFaH@scale) anchored by the Development Research Projects Centre (dRPC) on Thursday in Abuja.
He said prioritization of the health sector is key to attracting development and investment, thus calling on the next administration to make it top-notch in their political agenda.
