Nigerian women in the federal capital territory have threatened to strip themselves naked until the actual result of the presidential election is collated.
Oby Elekwa one of the protesters says the election results being collated currently are not representative of what transpired at the state’s collation, thus demanding for electronic transmission of results as promised by the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission prof. Mahmood Yabuku.
The protesters who were on their way to the national collation center today in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital were barricaded by security operatives a few meters away from the International Conference Center
They vetted their anger over the INEC chairman’s inability to keep to his promise of conducting a transparent and credible election stressing that what they wanted is the original result rather than the rigged one.
These concerned Nigerian women are optimistic that unity is key, hence they will not relent until their cry is heard for the interest of the masses.
