CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING NETWORK LAUNCHES TV STATION TO BOOST CREATIVITY IN NEWS, CHILDREN’S CONTENT

As the world is set to celebrate the International Children’s Day of Broadcasting on the 5th of March 2023, the Christian Broadcasting Network is launching the Flame TV station to enhance content for children and their families.

At the launch on Wednesday in Abuja, the Executive Director of Flame TV. And the Regional Director, of CBN Africa Dr. Felix Oisamoje said the essence is to change the narratives of non-inspirational content displayed by some media outfits, hence their priority is to serve the public with newsworthiness that is devoid of offensive views.

According to him, the rate of misinformation and disinformation making rounds has called for urgent intervention of all stakeholders to curb the menace of hate speech, ethnic and religious conflicts, and insecurity.

The network focuses on family-friendly entertainment with educational and inspirational content that uplifts and inspires lives globally.
