The President of the ECOWAS Female Parliamentarian Association (ECOFEPA), Hon. Woraye Sarr has vowed to provide an enabling environment for women’s participation in the fulfillment of 30 percent affirmative action in the sub-region.
She disclosed this at the closing of a two-day symposium on sensitizing women and youths on proportional representation in politics held in Sierra Leone, Freetown’s capital.
The ECOFEPA President says unity is key to driving the political position, thus urging the youths to honor their elders for rightful directions.
She noted that politics is not just achieved a day, as decorum and process must be applied for result driven.
