The Speaker of the Economic Community of West Africa States Parliamentarian Hon. Sidie Tunis has appealed to members to respect the already established policies and protocols to foster peace and development for the next generation.
He made the call while declaring the 2023 First Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Parliament open in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
While highlighting the significance of the session, Tunis said the only possible way to constantly build on regional success stories is to collectively expedite actions geared towards tackling the region’s numerous challenges.
