The Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) Commission has awarded a Certificate of Recognition to European Union Ambassador to Nigeria in honor of her commitment to serving the region.
The award was presented by the President, of the ECOWAS Commission Omar Touray through the Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Agriculture, Madam Massandjé Toure-Litse on June 14, 2023.
The award was described as a token of appreciation for the European Union’s support and commitment to ECOWAS through the Head of the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Samuela Isopi
“The award was presented during a courtesy call the Ambassador paid on Massandjé Toure-Litse, at the ECOWAS Commission Annex at River Plaza in Abuja, Nigeria.
“In addition to the Certificate of Recognition, an Honorary Award was also presented.
“The visit of Ms. Isopi was to ensure continuous collaboration between the European Union and the ECOWAS Commission.” The statement ended.
