SEEKS TO BUILD ON LESSONS LEARNED TO IMPROVE ON FUTURE ELECTIONS
A total of 37 State Collation Officers for the Presidential Election (SCOPEs) have met with the electoral umpire to discuss their experience and lessons learned at the just concluded 2023 general election.
Speaking at the opening of the election reviews in the nation’s capital, Abuja, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Prof. Mahmood Yakubu noted that the officers have displayed their maturity in service delivery despite all odds surrounding the conclusion of the process.
He further commended their resilience dedication and sacrifice to upholding democracy, while calling for robust knowledge sharing for best standards.
