TINUBU’S 4D AGENDA WILL STRENGTHEN BILATERAL RELATIONS – INFORMATION MINISTER

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has expressed optimism that the 4D agenda of Mr. President will deepen the partnership between Nigeria and the international community.

He stated this at the First Angola-Nigeria Interactive Business Forum organized by the Angolan Embassy on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Abuja.

The Minister said President Tinubu’s key priority is to enhance relationships that will attract direct foreign investment for economic recovery and appealed to partners to reciprocate the gesture for result-driven.

According to him, implementing Nigeria’s foreign policy agenda, billed on Democracy, Demography, Diaspora, and Development will go a long way to increase the country’s global influence, thus admonishing its continuous advocate for policies and programs that align with Nigeria’s domestic objectives and aspirations.

“Even against the backdrop of differing languages, cultures, and social and political systems, we must find ways of agreeing on and pushing unified narratives about who we are as a continent and what we want to achieve across all spheres of endeavor

On his part, the Angolan Minister of External Affairs, represented by Tete Antonio, Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, said their topmost priority is to strengthen economic and commercial relations with Nigeria going by the vast experience in economic diversification and production.

He noted that the Angolan government is working assiduously to make its economy less vulnerable to petroleum due to the volatility of oil prices, and appealed to the Nigerian government and other friendly nations to work towards this direction to achieve that objective.

In a statement by the Deputy Director, Press Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation October 19, 2023, Suleiman Haruna revealed that the Angola-Nigeria Interactive Business Forum was attended by the Nigerian Business Community, Captains of Industry, as well as the Diplomatic Community.
