FRIENDS, FAMILY REGRET TO THE EXIT OF REV. WAKSHAMA, ANNOUNCES BURIAL DATE

DESCRIBES HIM AS A COLOSSUS, A TRUE GEM

Families and friends have joined the Borno state government to mourn the recent departure of Reverend Inusa Wakshama, describing him as a colossus, a true gem, and a dedicated preacher of the gospel.
A statement signed by Dominica Toruka on behalf of the deseased daughter Dr Doris Yaro, the Executive Director Gabasawa Women and Children Initiatives today 10th November 2023 disclosed that Reverend Inusa Wakshama peacefully passed on to glory in Lagos after a brief illness on October 20th, 2023.
Throughout his life, he served God in various capacities and at different levels.
Born on October 25, 1939, in Ngwa, Hawul Local Government Area of Borno state, Rev. Wakshama earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Education from the Evangelical Theology Seminary Jos.
He notably served as the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Borno state, held the position of Chairman for the Borno State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, and later became the Chairman of the Board of Governors at North-Eastern Bible College, Demisa, Adamawa state.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Doris Yaro, the Executive Director of Gabasawa Women and Children Empowerment Initiatives, as well as his other children and grandchildren.
The final farewell and burial are scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023, at State Low-Cost Housing, Rantya, Jos. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace with the Lord. The statement ended
