SAYS FOSTERING UNITY IS KEY TO REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu has commended the effort of the members of the ECOWAS Parliament for fostering unity across major cities in West Africa, enabling highway connectivity between Francophone and Anglophone countries for economic blocs.
He made the expression while declaring open the ordinary session of the ECOWAS in Abuja.
President Tinubu, who was represented by the Deputy Senate President, JUBRIL BARAU, said the Parliament has served as a channel of discussions, inspiring future generations on good governance and democracy, and expressed optimism that the session will address critical areas of regional interest.
