Experts in the health sector have charged the Accountant General of the Federation to as a matter of urgency release the 60 billion Naira appropriation fund for the 2023 immunization budget to tackle the emerging outbreaks in the country.
The expert Chika Offor, Chief Executive Officer of Vaccine Network For Disease Control gave the charge during a press conference on Thursday 21st December 2023 in Abuja.
She said the delay in the release of this fund poses a threat to the country’s healthcare system especially with the 4D agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
