GOVERNOR SHERIFF WILL DRAW HOME-MADE EXPERT FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT – S.A IGHO

Delta State’s projects and implementation hardly reach a wider audience due to lack of publicity, even though it has about 65 percent of media owners and intellectual practitioners across the federation.
This is not because the democratically elected governors in the state are not politically grounded, but rather fail to employ the state’s guru who will help in amplifying their efforts in meeting the needs of the citizens.
However, the emergence of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori undertook a new dimension having appointed a son of the soil, Igho Akeregha who has spent over 30 years in the media industry as the Executive Assistant, media to the governor.
Until his appointment, Igho was a popular political analyst in the Africa Independent Television (AIT Kakaki) who has over the years held the government accountable without fear or favor.
In a courtesy visit paid by the Delta Journalists in the FCT forum at the governor’s lodge in Abuja, the Executive Assistant to the governor, Igho Akeregha said the move by the governor further portrays his readiness to attract infrastructural development in all sectors of the economy and urged Deltans to support his administration to achieve the desired results.
