The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission Bishop Stephen Adegbite has urged the Christian faithful to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ to promote the selfless sacrifice He paid on the Cross.
Bishop Adegbite made the call in his Easter message to Christians signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations today
Friday, 29th March, 2024.
He stresses that if Christians at all levels could emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ, Nigeria, and the world would be better for it.
Easter marks the resurrection of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, a culmination of his sacrifice and death in atonement of our sin.
The NCPC boss while emphasizing the Easter season said it’s the hallmark of everyone’s salvation, noting that without it there would be no salvation.
He maintained that his Easter message is anchored on sacrifice, humility, open hands, and a message of Chief Servant adding that leaders must follow what Jesus Christ did for all for God to hearken to Nigeria’s cry.
Easter ushers in hope, grace, trust, and peace; it is a season of blessings and sacrifice. is a time for us to reflect on our relationship with God and a time for spiritual upliftment.
We are moving to the season of celebration and Nigeria is a project of the Lord and would experience grace from the Lord.
The NCPC Boss therefore urged Christians to continue to pray for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed TInubu-led administration, as he worked tirelessly to cushion the economic hardship facing the country.

Also, Bishop Stephen uses the medium to celebrate the indefatigable, proactive,  Father of the nation, President Bola TInubu, on his 72nd birthday anniversary and prayed that the Almighty God will continue to bless him and grant him good health of mind and body and excellent wisdom to pilot the affairs of the great nation in Jesus mighty name.
