The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has appealed to the Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan to support the commission’s zero tolerance to abscondment of pilgrims to change the citizens’ perception.

He made the call during a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,  Amb Kamfut Umaru in an official visit to the Nigerian House in Amman, Jordan on Tuesday, 16th April, 2024.

Speaking at the event, Bishop Adegbite commended the Ambassador for the critical role the Embassy has played in ensuring that Nigerians get the necessary Pilgrimage experience in the holy land.

The Bishop while reaffirming his desires to leverage the expertise of the Embassy staff in the smooth coordination of pilgrimage operations in Jordan, pledges to continue in the trajectory of the Old Testament biblical experience especially in the next pilgrimage exercise slated next month.

Commission has declared this year a year of Renewed Hope and Satisfaction and would ensure that everyone who works with NCPC is satisfied with our services and has confidence in what we do as a Commission.

since the Commission introduced a Christian Pilgrimage to Jordan in 2021 as a Pilgrimage destination, it has become an integral part of the Commission’s Pilgrimage route.

In his remarks, Ambassador Umaru congratulated the NCPC boss for his well-deserved appointment as Executive Secretary pledging unwavering to advancing the cause of the Christian Pilgrimage in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
