AS FG RELEASES IT TO THE MINISTRY
A total of 50 tonnes of dates has been donated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria’s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs as part of its effort to Alleviate Poverty among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and victims of natural disasters in the country.
The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who took inventory of the dates commended the gesture of the partners to meeting the needs of the IDPs.
Speaking at the official handing over of the fruits, popularly called dabino in the Hausa language, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Adamu Lamuwa throws weight on the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs’ distribution judgment.
