SAYS IT WILL BRIDGE INFORMATION GAP
A Non-governmental Organization, the Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI), with support from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has announced plans to launch its innovative Election Al tool to curb misinformation and disinformation in the country.
The organization’s Executive Director, Bukola Idowu disclosed in a statement that the essence is to transform the country’s Civic and Voter Engagement to boost participation in electoral activities.
Stressing that the aim is to bridge the electoral information gap among citizens, and in particular the teeming youths.

The Election AI tool represents a significant leap forward in how citizens can understand the election framework from the Constitution, Electoral Act 2022, and INECElection guidelines among several others.
The launch event will take place on June 13, 2024, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, and will feature a live demonstration of the tool. KDl is committed to advancing democracy and civic engagement
