ADEGBITE CHAMPIONS PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FOR CAREER GROWTH, ENHANCED SERVICE

By Vincess Okushi

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has harped on performance evaluations of civil servants to drive career progression and processes in the country.

He stated this during the 2024 promotion examination exercise of staff of the Commission on October 22, 2024, in Abuja.

Bishop Adegbite stresses that the essence of moving officers from one-grade level to another is to reward the dedication and commitment of staff and build in them the catalyst of professional conduct suitable for international practice.

Promotion is not just about a new title; it’s about encouraging our staff to continually strive for excellence in their roles. he remarked.

The NCPC boss further urged them to approach the examination with confidence while affirming his administration’s commitment to creating an environment where staff feel motivated and supported in their career journeys.

There’s no need for fear. I expect each of you to excel and achieve outstanding results.

Nothing can be achieved without God. With Him, all things are possible. He add.

A statement by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head, Media and Public Relations of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, on October 22, 2024, revealed that a total of 33 senior staff members participated in the 2024 promotion examination, marking a significant stride since Bishop Adegbite’s assumption of office on February 5, 2024.
