The Federal Republic of Nigeria has expressed profound condolences to the Kingdom of Spain following a devastating flash flood that struck eastern Spain on October 29, 2024.
The disaster has claimed 158 lives, leaving many still unaccounted for, communities across the region devastated.
Nigeria stands in solidarity with Spain in this heartbreaking time, extending support to the Spanish people and government as they navigate this tragedy.
Our hearts are with the families of the victims. said Ambassador Eche Abu-Obe, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Nigeria mourns with Spain and prays for those affected, hoping for strength and a swift recovery for all impacted by this tragedy. He added.
