A statement by the force revealed that despite these grave accusations, the NPF has emphasized its strict adherence to due process.

At every step, we have balanced justice with compassion. Said ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson for the NPF.

It noted the Police Force’s dedication to upholding the rights of all suspects, including access to medical care and basic provisions.

Reacting to a recent court session, where tensions rose when six suspects were rushed out of the courtroom and collapsed, drawing significant media attention.

The statement stressed that, NPF officials responded swiftly, providing medical assistance and affirming their commitment to the well-being of those in custody.

Even under these circumstances, we prioritize human dignity and well-being. Adejobi added, addressing public concerns.

The Police Force has also highlighted its firm stance on accountability, making it clear that individuals, regardless of age, will face the law if found responsible.

Aligning it with global standards, such as those in the United Kingdom, where young offenders are also held accountable for serious crimes.

However, Adejobi emphasized that each case will be approached with empathy and respect for human rights.

And encourages the public to maintain objectivity as the legal process unfolds.

Our officers will uphold professionalism and transparency throughout this case. said Adejobi
